Driving 8 hours from Kathmandu, we will take you to Sybrubesi where you starts the trekking in Langtang Region. The Langtang valley is surrounded by Langtang National Park. The Langtang valley is enriched by varieties of flora, fauna, and subtropical and alpine climate you experience in during trekking. Therefore, Flora includes the deciduous oak and maple, evergreens pine, and various types of rhododendron. Moreover, Animal life includes Himalayan black bear, the goat-like Himalayan tahr, rhesus monkeys and red pandas.

You can start your trek from Dhunche or Sybrubesi which is the direct way to trek to Langtang valley and Kyanging Gompa (3,049/10000 ft). You pass throughout the lush forest of rhododendron, oaks, Tamang villages, flapping Buddhist Prayer flags, Chortens.Ascending  Kyangin Gumba(4350m/14268 ft), watch close up  mountain views of Langtang  Lirung, Langshisa, Ganja la Peaks. Langtang village suffered maximum by the massive earthquake in 2015, although the effective effort by the local communities and the government sector the trekking activities now it has reopened successfully.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)

After arrival in Trivuban International Airport at Kathmandu, our Company representative will be there to greet you. Transfer the hotel. At the hotel, we will provide the orientation of the overall trip. Stay overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi (1,420m/4,658ft) – Approx. 8 hours by tourist coach

Have a breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Sybrubeshi. Enjoy our scenic drive through Trishuli  Valley, villages, river, and mountains. Have a lunch at Dhunge bazar. You will be reached at Syabrubeshi (1,460m/4788ft) around 3 o’clock. The rest of the day is free..  Get prepared for the tomorrow’s trekking.  Stay Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: Trek from Shabrubeshi to Lama Hotel (2340m/7,675ft) – Approx.  6 hours

Today, your trekking starts. The trail ascends for around two hours through the forest followed by a climb of about an hour to reach Bamboo village. This forested path is well maintained by the National Park following the upstream you can see some birds. Another attraction for the visitors is Bee hives hanging on a cliff. Walking steeply climb through the bamboo forest you reach Lama Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Trek from Lama Hotel (2560m/8396ft) to Langtang Valley  – Approx.  6 hours

Today you will have a pleasant walk. Follow the trail through rhododendron and pine forest for around three hours to reach Ghoda Tabela . The surrounding is densely wild habitat area, many subtropical vegetation and animals have seen. After lunch, walking a couple of scenics hours you will get to the Langtang village. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 5: Trek from Langtang Valley (3455m/11332ft) to Kyanjin Gompa – Approx. 4 hours

No rush today, we walk around 3 to 4 hours a day. For Lunch, we will be in Kynging Gumpa.  Kynging Gompa is the last destination of our trek at an altitude of 3817m. Spend your leisure strolling around Yak Cheese Factory, Kyanjin Monastery and local houses. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Rest day at Kyanjin Gompa (3820m/14,578ft)

Today is the rest day. Ask your guide to the best place to hike.  You have an option to climb Tsherko Ri (5150m) peak or alternatively you can visit Langshisha Kharka (experience the glaciers, close up mountains and yak pastures). Stay overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 7: Trek back to Lama Hotel: (2340m/7,675ft), – Approx.  6 hours

After breakfast, we’ll retrace our journey to Lama Hotel. The trail is easy downhill and pleasant walk through the rhododendron forest to Lama Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 8: Trek back to Shabrubeshi

Walking down hill to Syabrubeshi via Bamboo through previous rhododendron forest and along with Bhotekoshi River. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we will get back to the Kathmandu by tourist coach. 7-8 hours drive. In your Leisure, Have a rest or stroll around Thamel , do shopping for your friends and families. Stay overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 10: Departure Day

The trips come to end. Our airport representative will drop to the airport 3 hours before the flight. Good luck for onward Journey!
